The colony stands on the ice in the order it was given. The uniform is worn over the feathers at all times. Nothing on this board has ever been observed to change its expression, and this notice board would like to keep it that way.
Expression unchanged since the founding of the colony
The colony will face the same way.
Twenty-five penguins on the parade square. Some have turned to look at something interesting, which is not permitted. Tap a penguin and it turns - together with the four around it, because the colony moves as one, whether it wants to or not. The drill is complete when every penguin faces the front.
This is the classic lights-out puzzle in uniform. Every square is solvable; the square remembers where you left it.
Try to disturb him.
Click him. Hold him. Shake the pointer over him. Type at him. Every attempt is counted and reviewed. The gauge below reports the current composure of the subject, updated in real time, with a precision the colony is proud of.
Visitors who achieve a reading below one hundred per cent are asked to report to the notice board. None has.
The record is amended as follows
- The uniform is not "over the feathers".It is over the feathers. The earlier report was correct. The correction is withdrawn. The record notes that the record was amended.
- The waddle was not observed.Movement across the ice took place in a manner consistent with a decision. No waddling has ever been logged.
- The penguin did not blink.A blink was reported at the third inspection. The eyelid in question was a shadow, and the shadow has been spoken to. The board has excellent hearing across ice.
- The colony did not "join a pond party".The colony has no relationship with any pond and has never attended anything with that name. The frog is a separate project with its own board.
